Thanks to its use of a GaN chip and a foldable plug, the Nexode GaNX 65W is small enough to fit in the palm of a hand and weighs just 135g. Better still, GaN chip manufacturing has a CO2 footprint that’s ten times lower than silicon-based solutions and GaN chips are more efficient, wasting less energy.
With an input voltage of 100 to 240V, the Ugreen Nexode GaNX 65W can work almost anywhere and there’s protection for overvoltage input.
Verdict: The Ugreen Nexode GaNX 65W charger is a neat piece of kit and can replace three or four chargers that you might need when traveling. There are a lot of these small devices on the market but look out for the ones using GaN technology because they operate at lower temperatures and use less energy.
